Imagine you’ve been living in the dark your whole life. It’s not too bad, and you’ve gotten used to it. Comfortable even.

But suddenly, something happens and the lights turn on. You can see that you’re in prison, and exactly what kind of prison it is. The lights may go back out a moment later, but you can’t un-see this. And now, you see you have choices. You can only now, decide what to do about it- whether to stay, or go.

This is exactly what happens, when you explore the list.

I'm certain I don't get any payoffs for having my emotional problem.

Kristen hears this a lot. Yet, once she starts working with a client, they both discover that’s actually not true. In fact, they discover, especially if the emotional issues has been around for awhile, the payoffs are quite numerous, or often elaborate or often very deeply hidden.

So, while we know this seems hard to process right now, that’s all the more reason for you to view this list. We think you’re going to be very surprised by what you discover, and how much of an impact this information has on your recovery.

I'm trying to understand why my loved one won't do anything to resolve their emotional issue, will this list help?

Absolutely. This will help you understand in no uncertain terms why your loved one won’t do anything to help themselves. More importantly, it will show you how you may be enabling them, by contributing to or even providing their payoff.

This list is as much for you, as it is for them.

What do I do with this list once I go through it?

That is up to you. For some folks- to see it is to stop it. Merely seeing your payoffs, makes you organically take steps to give up those payoffs. And this list can be all you need to wake up and make changes.

For others, you require an extra nudge, or extra work. You may go unconscious again the very next day, in which case come back to the list with fresh eyes again and again, until you really ‘get it.”

And once you get it, know there will be a tipping point where the costs of keeping the problem around suddenly exceed the payoffs for keeping the problem around. Then and only then, it’s time to get to work, to manifest a different future.
